The ViroAir Plus eliminates harmful contaminants and pathogens in the immediate environment through it's 4 stage filtration process. The ViroAir Plus is capable of processing and purifying up to 750 cubic meters of air in one hour. 

The Process

After the main vent filter has extracted dust and other large particles, UV-C Lamp Disinfectant Technology is used to expose viruses to UV radiation, helping to deactivate viruses and other harmful pathogens. 

The air is then passed through into the highly absorbent Activated Carbon Filtration Tray. Microbes and other pathogens then stick to the filtration device and become trapped, thanks to its large surface area. 

Finally, the High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filter (HEPA-13) helps to pick up any last remaining contaminants as small as 0.1 to 0.3 microns.

Details

The ViroAir Plus is equipped with a quad filter system to provide the highest quality air purification to keep you, your customers and colleagues breathing clean, bacteria free air all day.

Air is drawn in through an intake at the bottom of the unit and then through the pre-filter where larger particles such as dust are filtered out.

Next, the air is filtered through the UV-C Lamp chamber which is then hit by a strong UV-C lamp. This helps to kill all bacteria and viruses through UV radiation.

 A H13 HEPA (High-efficiency particulate absorbing) is used to further strain the air and has been proven to remove up to 99.97% of all particulates as small as 0.3 microns.

Finally, there is an activated carbon filter which is highly efficient at breaking down formaldehyde, benzene, TVOC, ammonia, smoke and other strong odors and poisonous gases. This type of filter is better than mechanical filter options as the activated carbon can absorb particulates and traps them inside the unit. 

The control Panel is the key to making your unit best suited to your work space. With four fan speeds for controllable filtration, a humidifier for better staff health, toggleable brightness and timer for efficient energy usage and optional UV-C lamp cleansing for extra defense against airborne contaminants.

Addons

This product has replaceable filters which will need to be changed when they been active for a certain amount of time. 

Activated Carbon Filter:

It is recommended that this component is replaced annually for best filtration output.

HEPA-13 Filter:

It is recommended that this component is replaced every 2000 hours (83 days) however this is subjective to the cleanliness of the surrounding environment and are likely to get more hours from each filter.

UV-C Lamp:

It is recommended that this component is replaced every 8000 hours or 330 days approximately.
